Huawei Introduces The Honor V8

Under the brand name of honor, Huawei sells a by now familiar Smartphonereihe that joins to the mid-range smartphones with much value is placed on the design and the price. You can see this in the new honor V8.
The new honor V8 was introduced recently in China, will come soon and most likely in Europe on the market. It is indeed based on the Huawei P9, but opts for a much larger IPS display. Size one can speak of 5.7 inches quietly by a Phablet, which dissolves in full HD or QHD depending on the storage size. 32 GB of internal memory to come in the full HD version, while the higher resolution version is equipped with 64 GB memory. Continue to the memory – despite the two versions of the memory – expandable via microSD card, two SIM cards can also be used.

The housing is completely made of metal and looks elegant; available will it be in the colors of gold, silver, and in accordance with the new trends: Rosé-gold. The in-house Kirin 950 octa-core processor, with a clock rate is 1.8 and 2.3 GHz, drives the device. With 4 GB RAM moves the equipment already at flagship level, which you can tell by the camera. This is Huawei as on the P9 is on a dual camera, where one of the two 12 MP sensors for the recording of images in color is responsible, while the other for black/white images is responsible. These two pictures are then combined by the honor V8 to an image. It dispenses with the Leica branding, we don’t worry about a big loss of picture quality however. The front camera captures Selfies in 8 mega pixels.

At 7.75 mm thickness, the Smartphone is only 170 grams and is home to a large 3,500 mAh battery. In terms of wireless standards, the V8 Bluetooth dominates 4.2 ac Wi-Fi 802.11, LTE and NFC, where NFC fitted only with the QHD version. Both devices have also an infrared port, through which, for example, TV can be controlled. The fingerprint sensor is located on the back. The EMUI interface in version 4.1 with Android Marshmallow is used and the price is converted to 310 euros for the 32 GB version, while there are nearly 380 euro for the 64 GB version. Finally the Chinese product video:
