Not A Good Idea: Use Sony Xperia Z2 with Sunglasses

Summer and the Sony Xperia Z2 – quite fits Xperia blog that probably not together, reported. The new flagship of the Japanese can be used in landscape mode, apparently with a patch, Polarized Sunglasses. Because then there’s to see how a video proves only one thing: blackness.

Polarized sunglasses are widespread in the summer: as conventional protection glasses have a special film that acts as a filter and blocks vertically incoming light waves Anders – preventing reflections. Many Smartphones cope with such filters, but not the Sony Xperia Z2. In a YouTube video is to see that the Smartphone landscape mode – so in the landscape – not with these sunglasses can be consider.

Known Issue with the Sony Xperia Z2: Overheating

But that is not the only blunder was probably overlooked in the development of the Sony Xperia Z2. The films of 4K-Videos, the Smartphone will very quickly, very hot, so the already turns off after a few minutes. This is stupid especially in the summer. First of all, the problem in Singapore had become known, but also in Germany, owners of smartphones have apparently with the overheating to fight. In the Amazon reviews about the user D. writes Gaus man as a comment that he at least can make ten minutes long 4K-Aufnahmen, when he first puts the Smartphone in the fridge – which is of course an extreme example. However, the reports that the average stops after four to eight minutes are piling up.

Despite these minor issues: Overall the Sony Xperia Z2 in the test really liked us, in comparison to its predecessor, the Japanese made some meaningful changes. The Smartphone is thus part of the Oberliga and can compete with the Samsung Galaxy S5, the HTC one M8 and the iPhone 5 s.

Sony added these changes to get updates for your own apps – there is a new design and more features such as the Messenger. Modified animations when sending and enhanced Emoji support are also part of the update as adjustments to your E-Mail program and the camera app. From July the next Smartphone with Android should be considered then 4.4 KitKat, including the Xperia T2 Ultra, Xperia E1 and Xperia M2. Comparison: Galaxy S6 Camera Of Samsung Or Sony

The different camera sensors in the Samsung Galaxy S6 provide quality differences in the photos–a comprehensive comparison test, in which the cameras with sensor tested by Samsung and Sony sensor in different light conditions comes to this result.

As became known in early may, Samsung used the Galaxy S6 and S6 Galaxy edge not always the same sensor for the camera. The reason for this should be a bottleneck for the actually used Sony IMX240 sensor which forced Samsung to build the own ISOCELL sensor. A test of SamMobile shows that the two sensors are not absolutely identical.

Sony During Daylight Hours Better, Samsung In The Dark

For the test, SamMobile has shot images with two versions of the Galaxy S6, each using the other sensor. All pictures were taken in auto mode to simulate the situation of the average user.

In the results of IMX240 by Sony proves, primarily during daylight hours, as the clear winner: the photos have more dynamic and warmer colors and have more depth. The ISOCELL, however, provides an originalgetreuere color rendering than the Sony sensor in low light conditions.

This means that not all owners of Galaxy S6 or S6 can make identical photos edge with their devices. Samsung even though admitted this fact, but provided neither an explanation nor an apology: “the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge use camera sensors from several different suppliers. Like all of the technology that is used in our products are consistent with our strict global standards for quality and performance.”
