Due to the long-lasting political crisis, relations between Guinea-Bissau and the EU are relatively limited. Among the most important countries to which Guinea Bissau exports are: Portugal and the Netherlands.

FTAs and treaties

Contracts with the Czech Republic

Agreements concluded in the past (the Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau on Cultural Cooperation) and the Agreement on Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau) were terminated in 1993. There are currently no intergovernmental agreements under negotiation.
