Attention! Citizens of Ukraine on biomeric passports are allowed to enter the country of Finland without opening a visa, for a period of stay in the country of 90 days in a period of 180 days.
To stay in Finland, citizens of Ukraine with non-biometric passports need a Schengen visa.

According to a2zgov, the term for issuing a tourist or business visa to Finland is from 10 to 14 working days.

Application form for a visa to Finland To enter Finland, citizens of Ukraine need to apply for a visa. The list of required documents for obtaining a tourist or business visa to Finland (the list of documents for other types of visas is provided individually):

  1. Passport valid for at least 3 months after the end of the trip.

To open a visa to Finland, you must have at least 2 blank pages (not necessarily side by side). A separate visa is opened for a child entered in the passport, so it is also necessary to have additional 2 blank pages.

Those. for each opened visa – 2 blank pages (for example, mother + 2 entered children – 6 blank pages).

  1. 1 color photograph 3.5 x 4.5 cm (head height from chin to crown 25×35 mm – 80% of the face);
    the face should be open and the shoulders should be visible, BUT NOT TO THE CHEST, i.e. large face + neck + upper shoulders;
    – the background is plain, light, gray, but not white (blue background is not allowed); – the photo must be fresh, taken less than 3 months ago.
  2. Agreement on the processing of personal data.

The agreement is filled out for each applicant (including children) in 1 copy. Be sure to indicate in paragraph 5 the e-mail or postal address of the applicant!!!!

  1. Certificate of employment on the letterhead of the enterprise indicating the date of employment, position and salary with a breakdown for the last 6 months (required) and indicating the phrase that the workplace is saved for the duration of the trip (two signatures are required in the certificate of employment – the director or deputy director and chief accountant).
  2. A copy of the certificate of registration of the employer’s enterprise
  3. For private entrepreneurs

– certificate of registration (copy)

– copies of tax income reports for 6 months, certified by the tax service.

  1. Visa to Finlandfor pensioners:

– original + copy of pension certificate (original for submission)

– an extract on the amount of the pension from the pension fund for the last 6 months.

  1. Original + copy of internal passport – all 16 pages (original for submission).
  2. Original + copy of marriage or divorce certificate (original for submission).
  3. Financial support:

– certificate from the bank on the availability of an account with a balance of funds in the account in the amount of 100 EUR/person/day

– copies of documents that confirm the stability of the financial situation (certificates of ownership of an apartment, houses, land, cars).

  1. Copy of the first page of the foreign passport.
  2. For students: – a certificate from the school / university
    – a copy of the record book + the original.

Pensioners (in the presence of a pension certificate) and children under 18 years of age are exempted from paying a visa fee and pay only for the services of the visa center.

Visa to Finland for children (under 18):

  1. Original + copy of birth certificate.
    2. In the case of a trip with one of the parents – a notarized permission to travel from the other parent with the wording: “TO SCHENGEN COUNTRIES” (not to Finland) – ORIGINAL + COPY (ORIGINAL FOR SUBMISSION)
    3. 1 color photograph 3.5 x 4, 5 cm (ALL REQUIREMENTS AS FOR ADULTS – SEE ABOVE) – regardless of the age of the child.
  2. A certificate from an educational institution (school, gymnasium, etc.) with the phrase that the administration does not object to the trip and indicating the address and telephone number.
    5. A copy of the internal passport of the parent who is not flying.

Additionally:

If the child has only one of the parents, it is necessary to provide a certificate confirming the absence of the other parent – a court decision on the transfer of rights to the child to one of the parents; death certificate of one of the parents and birth certificate of the child; a certificate stating that one of the parents is independently raising a child, issued by the registry office.

If any member of the family or group of tourists who are staying in the same room has a valid Schengen visa and does NOT need to open a visa, it is MANDATORY to provide a copy.

A complete package of documents is prepared for submission to the embassy for all tourists living in the same room (family members or a group of people). It is not allowed to serve members of the same family or group of people on different dates.

Attention! An incomplete package of documents may be the reason for refusal of a visa. Only the full package of documents is accepted for work. In the absence of any item, the documents are fully returned to the agent. Please do not submit incomplete documents.

In case of providing incomplete information about personal data, errors in certificates, spellings of surnames, dates, amounts, etc. The embassy reserves the right to technically refuse a visa without prior notice. It is NOT POSSIBLE to send any documents.
